Success.
Success was the goal for this generation and to a startling extent they have atained it, and now we venture to say that, if intimately approached, nine in ten would confess that success is only a decoration they wished to wear; what they really wanted is something deeper and richer than that."

Caffeine is an amazing drug.
My boss asked me to do something as he was leaving the office – this was my response:
Done – also done with the other project which may have been what you were instructing me to do, but I kept cutting you off. I cut you off a lot today, sorry about that. I think I was a little jumpy because I drank wayyy more coffee than I should (the new stuff is awesome).
Then a moment later I sent him this:
Seriously – I just almost broke my fingers I typed that last message so fast. I might just run home to Long Beach instead of riding the train.

Study: Body posture affects confidence
The results show how our body posture can affect not only what others think about us, but also how we think about ourselves, said Richard Petty, co-author of the study and professor of psychology at Ohio State University.
"Most of us were taught that sitting up straight gives a good impression to other people," Petty said. "But it turns out that our posture can also affect how we think about ourselves. If you sit up straight, you end up convincing yourself by the posture you're in."

credibility counts
To be persuasive we must be believable; to be believable we must be credible; to be credible we must be truthful.

embracing success
"I love my success... I love that people know me and say hello. Tell me the downside. When people talk about the burdens of success, you want to spit in their fucking face." — Joan Rivers

work without effort
Think of the small as large,
and the few as many.
Confront the difficult
while it is still easy;
accomplish the great task
by a series of small acts.
Act without doing;
work without effort.
-Lao-Tzu, Tao Te Ching

Is it wrong to use your sex appeal?
Well, not if you’re hungry
Is it the only reason you should use it?
Probably. Because you know, if women could sleep their way to the top there would be many more women at the top.
